The room was lovely, but the rules about dinner bookings were a hassle.

The superfriendly staff with great attitude to guests. A really comfortable way to end my trip.

Our room was immaculate with the bar, the bath, for instance, slept well. Location: the hotel was very close to the Lake District, other more popular areas of the lakes, and the quiet West coast of the Lake District.

The whiskey selection is extensive and excellent.

It was inconvenient that we had to take our shoes off to go upstairs, which disrupted the relaxed atmosphere I was hoping for.

The extensive whisky selection was excellent, and the locally sourced meal options. My room featured a unique interior design with a clawfoot bath and a wood-burning fire.

Getting to the hotel was a bit of a chore, as I found myself navigating a confusing path thanks to my GPS-which desperately needs a map overhaul. The breakfast options were somewhat limited, with a notable lack of fruit and an average menu that could use some variety. I also had to endure the sounds of traffic nearby. Lastly, some house rules, like removing shoes upstairs, felt a bit overbearing, impacting the overall relaxed vibe I hoped for.

Had a fantastic time! The breakfast was great and they had a cozy TV room perfect for winding down after a day out. Only downside was the slightly cramped parking area, but it didn't spoil our experience at all. 😊

Had a blast with my friends! The room was comfy, and we enjoyed lovely breakfasts every morning. Perfect spot for hiking up the fells and visiting the beach nearby. Emi, the owner, is super nice and always made sure we were taken care of. Definitely a place, we'd totally go back!

Getting there was tricky as the GPS took us up a steep path that was hard to navigate. Make sure to follow the hotel's directions.

We had such a lovely stay! Our room had this super comfy bed and a perfect view. Emmy was amazing, always ensuring we had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious, and the packed lunch for our day out was a nice touch! Just wish the parking was a tad bigger for bigger cars.

The King Double Room showcased original features with modern amenities. The extensive whisky selection was a good surprise, perfectly complementing the overall vibe. The strict dog policies created a sense of unease, particularly when we were unable to leave our dogs in the room during breakfast or let them out at night. Breakfast options were also limited, lacking variety and healthier choices. It was a pleasant experience but with notable room for improvement.

Close to the coast in a secluded spot. Plus, it's not far from Cumbria, which means it's a good base for exploring Lake District attractions 🌊. the restaurant is nearby too.
